Can we still be enthusiastic about pencils in the age of PCs and the Internet? It is possible: Short, long, round, angular, smooth, with built-in sharpener and eraser: there have always been interesting innovations. A pencil that has been a world first for years: the GRIP 2001. The patented Soft-GRIP area prevents fingers from slipping. The ergonomic triangular shape ensures effortless writing. The pencil is lacquered with an eco-friendly water-based varnish, a technology that Faber-Castell was the first to introduce. The lead is completely glued to the wooden casing and is therefore particularly resistant to breakage. The GRIP 2001 pencil is available in 5 different degrees of hardness.

  • Design: With patented knobs for a non-slip grip
  • Application: For writing, drawing and sketching
  • Material: Wood from certified sustainable forests (EcoPencil)
  • Extra break-resistant lead thanks to special SV bonding
  • Ecological water-based paint
